In honor of our long standing partnership with Scalamandré , we would love to introduce the Year of the Dragon collaboration. Utilizing Scalamandré’s brocade jacquard fabric created in partnership with The Met museum, we have created multiple styles to accompany your wardrobe. The inspiration for the brocade was from a woven scroll cover produced to accompany the Qianlong emperor’s calligraphy, the fabric celebrates the visual culture of the Qing dynasty, the last in China’s imperial history. In Chinese culture, the dragon represents good luck, strength, and health. Our Emperor Noir Slipper features a rich cotton-silk black velvet with a harmonizing black grosgrain. Meticulously Hand-crafted in Spain. Leather lined to provide additional support and comfort. The stacked wooden heel is 3/4″ in height. Leather soled. True to American sizing.
